In our endeavour to develop the leadership skills
amongst our students. our second Student Council representative body has been
formed. Student council is an elected body of student representatives who
become the voice of other students in the school and present their views on
various subjects. They often take charge of organizing events in the school and
work on several projects throughout the year. Its role in nurturing student’s
behavior and enhancing the developmental activities at schools is
complementary. Student Council body at CI has a primary body and a senior body.
The significance and meaning of Investiture: “A
formal investing of a person with authority, power, right, office or dignity.
Within a school context it means the Office Bearers holding aloft knowledge,
courage and confidence; a Day when Individuals are to be invested with responsibilities.”
The Investiture Day at Choithram International for 2011 was celebrated in a grand manner. The chief guest for the occassion was Major General Rajesh Pant who highly appreciated the manner in which the oath taking ceremony of the student council body was held. He was even impressed by the moto of the houses and said it reflected the high level of benchmarks that the school has set.He gave a motivating speech for our young leaders.
